Biblical Principles

BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES

Introduction

Part 1

Scripture contains principles from the first word to the last word, every chapter contains basic elements that are sometimes repeated to enforce the importance of the principle revealed. These unchanging and absolute principles are presented in a way that all can understand. God wrote a book so that all could comprehend. It is not a book of mystery, it is not a book intended to be kept from the uneducated and the uninitiated.

These principles are foundational in Genesis, come to fruition in the book of the Revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ.

If time allows, and God and the Holy Spirit of God guides, we hope to develop each of the following principles as Scripture reveals them.

PRINCIPLES

GOD

⇒God’s promises are not controlled, effected or limited by circumstances

⇒God acts supernaturally outside of the understanding of men

⇒God is not limited or controlled by time, space or dimension

⇒God manifests His power in the affairs of the earth

⇒God is always on His throne

⇒God has His proper order in His set time

⇒God’s record is precise

⇒God sets the time frame for nations and for men

⇒God never departs from His Holiness to fellowship with man

⇒God’s Holiness and Righteousness demands that He must judge sin

⇒God requires separation from the ungodly

Separation principle

The Oldest Religion – man’s attempt at self justification and self-righteousness

The Principle of Unity through Separation

Holiness and sin cannot dwell together

The marriage principle of one man and one woman

The positive – negative principle

We produce after our kind

The Law of First Mention

To understand the present, it is necessary to understand the past, to trace things back to their origin

That which begins on a wrong or evil foundation will always end badly

Wherever sin is found, God must judge

The Principle of Sacrifice

Spiritual decay comes before moral decay

Universal depravity

Every New Testament truth has its Old Testament types

True fellowship is walking with God

Truth is not determined by the majority

Truth is never determined by success

All men desire a name or preeminence

Evil develops quicker than the good

Evil has always been and will always be in the majority

⇒there is only one exception, and that is millennial, and in the eternal state

The Babel Principles

⇒united men can dethrone God

⇒consensus determines truth and morality

⇒man in his own determinate strength can achieve physical, social and spiritual greatness

⇒power and truth in the religion of humanism

⇒united men can created an accepted and perfect social and governmental order.

All forms of earthly governments will eventually lead to abusive control of its subjects and tyrannical rule

Man’s government is always built on a wrong foundation

⇒it’s built on the presumption that men have the ability to govern with truth, justice, and righteousness.

⇒it’s built on the presumption that men know what is “right” for the masses

⇒it’s built on the presumption that because men know what is right, they will do what is right.

Those who walk with God will always be in the minority

God in His mercy and grace will always provide a way for those who love and obey Him

The Representation Principle

Believing God leads to obeying God

All men fail God

All parts of Scripture are of one whole

To know the source of a subject or the source or origin of a principle gives understanding and insight into its character

The beginning of social and governmental order, all forms of earthly governments will eventually lead to abusive control of its subjects and tyrannical rule

The Bible has design, structure and a pattern created by God

The Principle of the Law of Numbers

The Blood Principle
